Students dissected the lyrics of Melbourne Storm’s theme song, and worked together to brainstorm and develop narratives that combined compelling visual storytelling with meaningful community and cultural messages about the NRL club.

Process
This activity immersed students in the initial phases of animated filmmaking. It mirrored the processes of professional animation studios, in which ideas are explored, revised and perfected before transitioning to character and environment animation. Throughout this activity, students cultivated essential skills in teamwork, collaborative design and feedback, and visual storytelling.
